A Simple Thought


Sometimes, little pieces of wisdom drop into my world and I just have to share. I was reading a daily devotional today and as I made my way through the paragraph, I saw: 

"If you know how to worry, you know how to meditate."

I've struggled with quieting my mind during meditation for a while and recently got better at it by doing the Chopra Center 21 day Meditation Challenge. That said, worrisome thoughts would creep up during my attempted quiet/peaceful time.

Now, I know that if I can worry and repeat thoughts and scenarios related to a problem over and over in my head, I can certainly shut up, focus on a mantra or centering thought and let that run through my mind instead. Simple truth. Love it. Had to share. Cheers!
