Six Week Grind (Week 3)

Happy Monday! I hope last week went well for you whether you are following the Six Week Grind or not. My biggest fitness issue last week was dealing with pain. There was nothing major but I felt some muscles I haven't felt in a while. It didn't help that I worked out a lot with Ash who did the Neila Rey routines with me and then added a few additional exercises--pull-ups and dips to be exact. I used the assist on the pull up machine but it was still plenty tough.

This week's workout plan is admittedly tough if you are a beginner. Just do what you can. I am ratcheting up the workouts a bit because the end of the plan is in sight. I want to see what I can do when I put my mind to it. I already feel stronger and am happily eating filling and healthy meals.

And now, for the DISCLAIMER: I am not a nutritionist or trainer. I'm sharing what I'm doing and what has worked for me. Following along may or may not work for you. As always, consult your physician before starting any new exercise or diet plan.

Here's to getting through Week 3's challenges. Cheers!

p/s You will notice a lot of the flavor profiles for this week's meals are similar to last week's meals. I'm making an effort to minimize grocery shopping and to use the ingredients from last week's shopping (sweet potatoes, feta, kalamata olives, lemons, watermelon, arugula, etc.). Feel free to sub in your own choices!! Also, omnivores, feel free to add meat to any of the meals.
